About the role

Join Vila Joya, a two‑Michelin‑star destination perched above the Atlantic, as a Barista delivering exceptional coffee experiences. You will craft specialty drinks with precision and creativity while providing warm, personalized service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso‑based drinks, cold brews, and artisanal creations.
• Prepare specialty teas and recommend coffee‑pairings based on bean origins and flavor profiles.
• Maintain a spotless, organized coffee bar and ensure all equipment is fully stocked.
• Operate and maintain high‑end coffee equipment such as grinders, espresso machines, and brewers, troubleshooting minor issues.
• Uphold health and safety standards, handling and storing ingredients properly.
• Provide attentive service, greet and seat guests, and collaborate with the team to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Experience in a high‑end or fine‑dining establishment.
• Strong expertise in crafting espresso‑based drinks, cold brews, and specialty coffee.
• Fluency in English; German or Portuguese is a plus.
• Passion for coffee culture and a commitment to excellence.
• Ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.
