About the role
The Banquet Server supports the Food & Beverage team by preparing and servicing coffee breaks, stations, and buffet areas for events at the hotel.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in the Banquet Event Order.
- Set up tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert and cordial carts.
- Communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Clear courses, crumb tables, and replenish buffet items to maintain freshness and presentation.
- Monitor tableware, maintain cleanliness of assigned stations, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and perform duties for an entire shift.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
