Backend .NET Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Backend .NET Developer to join Bosch Car Multimedia in Braga. In this role you will design, develop and maintain backend services, APIs and data solutions that support our automotive multimedia platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operate knowledge‑graph solutions aligned with our data‑mesh strategy.
• Create robust RESTful APIs following best practices for versioning, authentication and error handling.
• Model, optimise and maintain relational databases using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Build data‑access layers with Entity Framework Core.
• Propose and implement architectural improvements and integrate new data sources.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and write unit and integration tests.
• Document APIs, data models and technical decisions.
• Contribute to Agile (Scrum) processes and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT or related field.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in backend development with .NET and C#.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and working with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core and CI/CD tools.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a Scrum environment.
