Backend Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join Devexperts and help build one of the leading US trading platforms serving over 200,000 daily users. The role focuses on high‑performance, low‑latency backend services that process more than one million requests per second.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for order issuance, validation, routing, execution, option pricing and reconciliation.
• Ensure high performance, fault tolerance and low latency across a distributed infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous integration to maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver large technical projects.
• Monitor and optimise system scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Python.
• Solid understanding of system design principles and experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience delivering large‑scale projects in a collaborative environment.
• Good English communication skills (B2+).
