About the role
We are seeking a Backend Developer with solid experience in Node.js to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services. The role is collaborative, involving close work with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver high‑quality features.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimise backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver high‑quality features.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and improving existing systems.
Required profile
- 2–5 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Must be living in Portugal; work model is hybrid (Lisbon or Porto).
