Backend Developer

About the role

Join a leading European entertainment and communication company as a Backend Developer. You will help deliver highly available, reliable, and secure video‑streaming services to millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Apply best practices to deliver performant, available, and secure software.
• Build highly scalable, 99.999%‑available products for video and content streaming.
• Develop, test, and operate applications across the full development lifecycle.
• Mentor peers, contribute to continuous improvement, and work in cross‑functional feature teams.
• Collaborate with other developers to share knowledge and drive technical excellence.

Required profile

• Experience with Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Go or similar backend languages.
• Proficiency in API development and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands‑on with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools (Cucumber, Gatling, JMeter).
• Strong desire to innovate, self‑driven attitude, and fluent English communication.
