About the role
The Aviation Safety Inspector (Rotorcraft/Helicopter) will join Air Methods CMT to perform certification, surveillance and inspection duties for general aviation operators. The role ensures that assigned air carriers, operators, agencies, airmen and designees comply with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR).
Key responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site inspections of rotorcraft and helicopter operations to verify regulatory compliance.
- Review and approve certification documents for air carriers and operators.
- Monitor surveillance activities and follow‑up on corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare compliance reports.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on interpretation of 14 CFR requirements.
Required profile
- Experience in general aviation inspection or related safety roles.
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations, especially Title 14 CFR.
- Ability to analyze technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with operators and agencies.
Required skills
- Knowledge of 14 CFR regulations governing rotorcraft and helicopter operations.
