About the role
The Aviation Safety Inspector (Cabin Safety) works within the Air Carrier Safety Assurance (ACSA) Standardization Office, providing regulatory oversight for a wide range of air carrier aircraft types. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with FAA policies, procedures, and certification requirements, and supports the safety of cabin operations across the global fleet.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory oversight, certification, surveillance, evaluation and investigation of air carrier cabin safety.
- Apply and interpret FAA policies, procedures and systems related to aircraft certification and operational safety.
- Utilize the Safety Management System (SMS) and Safety Assurance System (SAS) to monitor, assess and improve safety performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to standardize safety practices and ensure consistent regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Demonstrated global expertise in regulatory oversight of multiple air carrier aircraft types.
- In‑depth knowledge of FAA regulations, certification processes and safety oversight procedures.
- Experience working with safety management and assurance frameworks in an aviation environment.
