About the role
The incumbent will serve as an Aviation Safety Inspector (Maintenance) within the Air Carrier Safety Assurance (ACSA) Standardization Office. This position demands global expertise in overseeing the regulatory compliance of a wide range of air carrier aircraft types and applying FAA policies, procedures, and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory oversight of air carrier maintenance programs and aircraft types.
- Perform certification, surveillance, evaluation, and investigation activities in line with FAA standards.
- Utilize and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) and the Safety Assurance System (SAS) to ensure continuous safety performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to standardize safety practices across the organization.
Required profile
- Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures related to aircraft maintenance.
- Proven experience in safety assurance and management within the aviation sector.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and interpret complex regulatory requirements.
