Automated Logistical Specialist (92A) – Supply Chain

About the role

As an Automated Logistical Specialist (92A) in the Army National Guard, you will support mission planning by managing supply‑chain functions such as storage, distribution and warehouse operations. The role combines supervision of equipment records with hands‑on handling of material‑handling equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain stock lists, inventory records and material‑control documentation.
• Operate and maintain the stock locator system and document‑control procedures.
• Process supply requests, turn‑in documents and load‑list duties using manual and automated applications.
• Construct bins, shelving and other storage aids to optimise warehouse space.
• Standardise collection and use of maintenance data to improve accuracy of performance and parts information.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to enlist in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma, GED or junior‑year high‑school status.
• Age between 17 and 35 and ability to pass a physical exam.
• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting or business administration.
• Willingness to perform physical work and operate warehouse equipment.

Required skills

• Operation of material‑handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Stock control and inventory accounting procedures.
• Procedures for shipping, receiving, storing and issuing supplies.
