Associate or Full Professor of Marketing

About the role

Nova School of Business and Economics is seeking an Associate or Full Professor of Marketing to join its faculty in Lisbon starting September 1. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise research, and contribute to the school’s international reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching in Marketing, Data Analytics and related subjects in English.
• Develop and supervise student research projects and theses.
• Maintain an active research agenda with regular publications in top‑tier international journals.
• Participate in departmental service, curriculum development and academic committees.
• Engage with the broader academic community through conferences and collaborations.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Marketing, Economics or a closely related discipline.
• Strong, documented research record with publications in leading business journals.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in English.
• Commitment to academic excellence and collaborative work.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of marketing theory and research methods.
• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
