Assistant Store Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager you will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, ensure operational excellence and develop the team in a Coach boutique. You will lead by example on the sales floor, delivering exceptional customer experiences and upholding the brand’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through forecasting, planning and category initiatives.
• Create an inclusive, high‑energy environment that meets Coach service standards and resolves customer issues promptly.
• Recruit, onboard and coach team members, fostering a collaborative culture aligned with the brand vision.
• Assist with omni‑channel and digital engagement, including virtual shopping, clienteling and data acquisition.
• Oversee compliance with policies, scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, visual merchandising and store safety.
• Partner with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends and drive cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year of leadership experience in retail or service environments; luxury/fashion background preferred.
• Strong customer focus and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in English (for EU postings) and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
