Assistant Front Office Manager – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Front Office Manager to support the reception team at the Pestana Porto Covo Residences. The role involves ensuring smooth front‑desk operations, delivering exceptional guest service, and assisting the Front Office Manager in daily management tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement front‑desk objectives and procedures.
• Hire, train, and schedule front‑office staff.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and manage office supplies and equipment.
• Oversee bookings, appointments, phone calls, and email communications.
• Conduct performance reviews and supervise staff activities.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing and updating records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar front‑office or reception role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Leadership and training capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera property management software.
