Application Support Engineer (Multiple Levels)

About the role

We are looking for Application Support Engineers (Level 2) to join our operational teams that keep critical banking applications running smoothly in enterprise production environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, development and business teams to ensure stability, resolve incidents, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 production support, monitor application health and maintain CMDB documentation.
• Configure, execute and monitor batch jobs with Control‑M, and proactively manage SLA compliance.
• Deploy, configure and maintain middleware such as Apache, Tomcat and JBoss.
• Monitor and troubleshoot secure file transfers using CFT/Connect:Express.
• Support Linux and Windows servers, cloud infrastructure on AWS, and container platforms like Kubernetes or OpenStack.
• Use Dynatrace for application and infrastructure monitoring, manage incidents following ITIL processes, and produce operational reports.
• Participate in production deployments, change management and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve complex incidents.
• Experience working in a production support or operations environment, preferably in banking or finance.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident management practices.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, OpenStack, ArgoCD.
• Monitoring: Dynatrace.
• Service Management: ITIL (mandatory), ServiceNow (nice‑to‑have).
