Application Support Engineer

About the role

Neotalent Conclusion is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join its support teams. You will ensure the stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications in a production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve application incidents and service requests with minimal business impact.
• Diagnose issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and escalate when necessary.
• Identify recurring problems and work with other teams to implement long‑term solutions.
• Support change‑management activities, including deployment and documentation of application changes.
• Provide first‑level support to end‑users for functional and technical queries.
• Monitor application performance and health using monitoring tools, proactively spotting potential issues.

Required profile

• Experience in application support within production environments.
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL/ITSM).
• Comfortable using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Ability to script and automate using Python, Shell, Perl, SQL, or PowerShell.
