Application Support Engineer – French Speaker

About the role

MoOngy is looking for an Application Support Engineer who is fluent in French to join its Lisbon team. You will work in a hybrid setting, spending most of your week in a modern office while collaborating with an international group that serves the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform root‑cause analysis using logs, SQL queries and technical tools.
• Provide support and troubleshooting across UI, API and workflow layers.
• Investigate functional issues directly with end‑users.
• Document and manage incidents, problems and requests in JIRA or ServiceNow.

Required profile

• Experience in multi‑layer application support (UI, API, workflow).
• Good level of SQL and ability to analyse logs and stack traces.
• Proficiency with browser DevTools, HTTP/payload analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with JIRA and/or ServiceNow.
• Fluent French (C1) and solid English (B2).
• Currently residing in Portugal and legally authorized to work.
