Application Security Engineer

About the role

Adnovum is expanding its interdisciplinary security team in Lisbon and is looking for a full‑time Security Engineer focused on application security. You will work closely with software and security specialists to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our security platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and integrate digital identity and security solutions into customer environments.
• Implement, test and approve change requests and releases.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for customers in production environments.
• Operate, control and monitor security solutions both in the cloud and on‑site.
• Develop and maintain tools for proactive monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, early problem detection and rapid incident response.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell scripting and network protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with containers and cloud platforms.
• Interest in security processes, master data management and secure interface design.
• Ability to work in a DevOps‑oriented environment.
