Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Android Developer to join a team of five engineers working on the Moey! Android application. The role focuses on building and maintaining modern, high‑performance mobile experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for the Moey! Android app.
• Maintain and improve existing codebase following MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Integrate RESTful APIs with Retrofit/OkHttp, handling errors, pagination and caching.
• Implement dependency injection using Hilt or Dagger.
• Write unit and UI tests with JUnit, Mockito and Espresso.
• Optimize build configurations and manage dependencies with Gradle.
• Debug, profile and resolve performance issues using Android Studio tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Git workflows and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) processes.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin with solid understanding of coroutines and flows.
• Experience building UI with Jetpack Compose; familiarity with the classic View system is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture and modular code organization.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and communicate effectively with teammates.
