AML Consultant – French Speaker (Lisbon/Porto)

About the role
The AML Consultant will join Inetum's compliance team in Lisbon or Porto, helping clients detect and prevent money‑laundering activities. This position requires strong analytical abilities, fluency in French and English, and a meticulous approach to monitoring financial transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse alerts related to money‑laundering risks and assess their relevance.
- Maintain accurate records of all payment alerts and suggest procedural improvements.
- Investigate suspicious payments, gather evidence, and escalate cases for further investigation when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Academic background in Law, International Relations, Political Science, Economics or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in banking services, compliance, KYC, AML or a comparable area.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
