AI Security Specialist (Remote, Portugal)

About the role

Dellent, a consulting firm specialized in information systems and telecommunications, seeks an AI Security Specialist to join a long‑term remote project in Portugal. You will protect Microsoft Copilot deployments, design security controls, and support internal teams while working on cutting‑edge AI security challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular security reviews of Copilot deployments, identifying threats such as prompt injection, model tampering, and data poisoning.
• Implement Identity and Access Management, Conditional Access policies, and Zero Trust principles for Copilot workloads.
• Develop threat models and execute controlled security tests, including red‑team activities.
• Build monitoring capabilities, detect anomalies, and respond to Copilot‑related security incidents.
• Provide third‑level support for complex security, performance, and usage issues.
• Create internal documentation, guardrails, and targeted training for Copilot support staff.
• Define security controls, operational guardrails, and escalation patterns with the support organization.
• Assess custom Copilot plugins and third‑party integrations.
• Analyze Copilot data flows and validate encryption and protection mechanisms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• 3+ years of experience securing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Security, Azure Security, CISSP, or AZ‑500 (optional but beneficial).
• Fluency in English.
