AI Graphic Designer - Performance Ads

About the role

We are looking for an AI Graphic Designer specialized in performance advertising to create high‑volume static ad creatives that capture attention and drive measurable results. Based in Portugal, you will work closely with creative strategy and performance marketing teams to turn briefs into polished, test‑ready visual concepts for paid social campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑converting static ads for Meta and other paid‑social platforms.
• Translate briefs into multiple visual directions, hooks, and ad variations.
• Produce a consistent, high volume of polished, test‑ready creatives each week.
• Leverage AI image‑generation tools to accelerate production and expand experimentation.
• Refine AI‑generated imagery through strong typography, composition, retouching, and layout design.
• Adapt successful concepts into new formats, audiences, and messaging angles.
• Collaborate with the Senior Creative Strategist and performance marketing team to execute concepts effectively.
• Iterate creatives based on campaign performance, testing results, and stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain an efficient, organized, repeatable creative production workflow.
• Own static‑ad production and deliver high‑quality output with minimal oversight.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating static paid‑social advertisements, preferably for DTC, e‑commerce, or consumer brands.
• Strong portfolio showcasing performance‑focused ad creatives rather than branding or organic social content.
• Experience producing multiple creative variations efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Deep understanding of direct‑response advertising principles, including hooks, visual hierarchy, and scroll‑stopping design.
• Advanced hands‑on skills with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or comparable design tools.
• Practical commercial experience using AI image‑generation tools within a creative workflow.
• Excellent visual judgment across typography, composition, hierarchy, and product presentation.
