Aeronautical Engineer – Design & Simulation Integration

About the role

We are seeking an Aeronautical Engineer to join TEKEVER’s UAV development team. The role sits at the crossroads of aircraft design and engineering tool development, supporting both new and legacy unmanned aircraft through design, simulation and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on conceptual and preliminary design of new UAV configurations, performing sizing and trade‑off studies.
• Develop and tune flight models, contribute to system identification, and ensure digital models reflect real‑world behavior.
• Run mission analyses, stability calculations and automate performance, flight‑load and data‑processing tasks to support design decisions.
• Translate theoretical designs into physical prototypes using 3D printing or composites and assist in flight‑testing campaigns to gather validation data.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–6 years of experience in aircraft design, simulation or performance analysis.
• Strong fundamentals in aerodynamics and flight dynamics.
• System‑thinking mindset with a willingness to optimise workflows and handle hands‑on prototyping.

Required skills

• Python programming for automation and data processing.
• Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of 3D printing/composite prototyping techniques.
• Understanding of aerodynamics and flight‑dynamics principles.
