About the role

As an Advanced Systems Engineer – Integrated Systems at Honeywell Aerospace, you will join the Integrated Systems team developing the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project. You will work on defining software requirements and integrating complex avionics subsystems for a cloud‑connected flight deck.

Key responsibilities

• Lead system requirements development and decomposition.
• Influence architecture and design trade studies.
• Own integration of complex avionics subsystems.
• Lead verification and validation activities.
• Drive system‑level issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior systems engineers.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
• 5+ years experience in systems engineering or project leadership in Avionics, Flight Management or Flight Guidance.
• 3+ years experience with systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years experience with advanced systems engineering technologies.
• Strong avionics and lifecycle knowledge.
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
