Accounts Receivable Manager – Finance

About the role

Emma – The Sleep Company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to own the Order‑to‑Cash process across EMEA, the Americas and APAC. Reporting to the Head of Global Accounting, you will lead a team of AR accountants, drive continuous improvement, and ensure best‑in‑class accounting practices for the offline (B2B) business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee B2B accounts receivable accounting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Mentor and develop a team of accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, tech and engineering teams to maintain accurate financial data.
• Drive cash collection activities, work with business units to secure timely customer payments and resolve payment issues.
• Coordinate audit schedules, liaise with external auditors, and support tax and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards for stakeholder decision‑making.
• Manage financial relationships with retail partners and provide operational insights.
• Develop, implement and enhance internal controls and accounting policies.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analyses and projects in partnership with the Controlling team.
• Identify and implement process automation opportunities within ERP transactions and new business models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting, specifically Accounts Receivable/Order‑to‑Cash.
• Experience with retail clients is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
