Accounts Receivable Associate – French Speaker

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate who is fluent in French to join our Shared Service Center in Porto. The role focuses on managing the full AR lifecycle, supporting process migration, and collaborating with internal and local teams to drive efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Issue billing and credit notes and apply incoming payments.
• Perform collections based on aging reports and manage the customer dunning schedule.
• Conduct credit analysis, assess customer risk, and execute month‑end closing activities such as AR cleansing and bad‑debt allowance.
• Support process improvement initiatives and migration of AR processes into the SSC.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and local country teams to ensure compliance with policies and assist audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in financial services or accounting.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, high accountability, accuracy, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
