Accounts Payable Accountant – Master Data

About the role

Airbus Portugal is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant focused on Master Data to join its Global Business Services team in Lisbon. You will ensure supplier master data is accurate, compliant, and aligned with corporate guidelines while supporting finance and procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and cleanse supplier master data in accordance with Corporate Master Data Guidelines.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement to identify and implement process improvements.
• Process transactions following Airbus regulations, ensuring timely and accurate accounting.
• Document Vendor Master Data governance and management procedures.
• Validate company and vendor data against official sources and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support to internal customers on master‑data queries and assist external vendors with data verification.
• Support migration projects and ensure data entry accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Master Data Management, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Understanding of how master data impacts accounting areas and legal compliance.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and fraud prevention.
