Accountant – US GAAP & QBO for Hospitality Clients

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Accountant to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping for our hospitality portfolio, ensuring clean books, timely closes and accurate US GAAP reporting for hotels, restaurants and related businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle accounting for multiple hospitality clients, including general ledger management, month‑end close and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate directly with clients to gather information, clarify transactions and communicate results.
• Identify discrepancies, process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Adapt quickly to evolving client needs across diverse hospitality operations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience with full close‑cycle ownership.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP applied consistently.
• Experience serving US‑based or US‑facing clients.
• Ability to manage several client accounts simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Self‑directed, organized and able to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
