Accountant - Record to Report (f/m/x)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant – Record to Report to join Webasto’s finance team. You will support the month‑end close, manage general‑ledger activities and ensure accurate financial reporting across our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly GL accounting tasks, post manual and recurring journal entries, and process accruals.
• Perform asset accounting – creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfers and scrapping.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate period‑end and month‑end closing activities with local and global finance teams.
• Complete balance‑sheet account reconciliations on time.
• Prepare documentation and support external auditors during audits.
• Develop and maintain desktop procedures and process documentation.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a shared‑service environment.
• College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proficiency in English; additional European language is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Team‑player with a cooperative mindset and high accountability.
