Wealth Planner – Portuguese Market

About the role

Utmost International is seeking a Wealth Planner based in Portugal to support the implementation of its wealth solutions across the Portuguese market. Reporting to the Head of Tax & Legal – Portugal/Brazil, you will provide tax, legal and regulatory expertise, develop product literature, and manage related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑house technical expertise on Portuguese tax, legal and regulatory matters for new and existing Utmost Wealth Solutions products.
• Advise the sales team on structuring transactions to ensure compliance and tax efficiency.
• Review and ensure compliance of product marketing materials and documentation.
• Monitor changes in Portuguese insurance regulations and tax legislation and assess impact on products.
• Develop, review and negotiate legal documentation for business development initiatives.
• Maintain the online multi‑jurisdictional tax support portal and related materials.
• Manage external legal and tax advisors, including engagement and fee negotiations.
• Contribute to internal training programmes on product and regulatory knowledge.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Portuguese tax, legal and regulatory frameworks affecting wealth and insurance products.
• Experience in wealth planning, insurance‑based solutions, or related financial services.
• Ability to produce clear, compliant product literature and technical documentation.
• Proven project‑management skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
