VAT Compliance Consultant (French speaker)

About the role

The VAT Compliance Consultant provides advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients operating across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with clients and tax authorities, the consultant ensures timely and accurate VAT filings while helping businesses navigate legislative changes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client transaction flows and ensure VAT compliance is completed efficiently.
• Analyze client‑provided VAT data, prepare and validate VAT declarations for each relevant country.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering reports and advisory communications.
• Communicate with tax authorities on behalf of clients, handling information requests and audits.
• Support senior consultants and managers with complex client issues.
• Monitor VAT registration and deregistration processes across jurisdictions.
• Research and update internal VAT knowledge databases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, Management, Economics or related field.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
• Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.
