Team Lead - Web Development (E-commerce)

About the role

Alongside partners with organizations to drive digital transformation and build high-performing tech teams. It is recruiting a Team Lead - Web Development for its client, a leading company active in several sectors including automotive and agricultural machinery, with a presence in many countries. The role is based in Porto.

Key responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of the e-commerce platforms and their integrations
• Define, prioritize and manage the technology roadmap for the webshop and other digital sales channels
• Contribute hands-on to the development and implementation of new features and improvements
• Define and continuously evolve the solution architecture, ensuring quality, security, scalability and maintainability
• Monitor platform performance, availability and reliability, and manage the application lifecycle
• Promote best practices across software development, documentation, testing and code quality
• Coordinate internal technical teams and external partners, and work with stakeholders to turn business needs into technical solutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in application development or application management, ideally in e-commerce or digital sales
• Experience coordinating technical teams and/or external partners
• Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in English

Required skills

• Solid experience developing e-commerce solutions
• Django (must-have)
• React
• SQL
• Knowledge of SAP (MD/SD), DevOps and CI/CD is a plus
