Systems Engineer – Network Automation

About the role

Join Cloudflare’s Network Engineering team to build software solutions that improve network resilience and reduce operational toil across our global data‑center network. You will work on new and existing tools, infrastructure, and services, leveraging AI assistants to streamline daily workflows.

Required profile

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of proven experience developing software components for network automation
• Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and programming languages such as Python and Go
• Proficiency with modern Unix/Linux operating systems
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers and/or virtualization
• Experience with observability systems like Prometheus and Grafana
• Demonstrated experience working alongside AI assistants or automated tools
