Systems Administrator

About the role

Air Apps, a family-founded company building an AI-powered personal and entrepreneurial resource planner, is hiring a Systems Administrator for its Lisbon office. The role manages and maintains corporate IT infrastructure, user access and SaaS tools so that employees can work securely and efficiently. It is a fully onsite position, and the company is open to supporting relocation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, cloud services and internal systems.
• Oversee user access, account provisioning and identity management across platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta and Azure AD.
• Ensure network security, endpoint protection and data encryption policies are in place.
• Maintain and support company-wide SaaS tools such as Slack, Zoom, Notion and Atlassian.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including multi-factor authentication and role-based access control.
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding by setting up and deactivating accounts.
• Automate IT operations, workflows and system monitoring, and maintain software licenses, compliance requirements and IT documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to employees.

Required profile

• Around 3+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration or IT support.
• Experience managing cloud-based corporate IT environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS or Azure).
• Strong understanding of IT compliance and data privacy regulations such as GDPR and SOC 2.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues and to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Identity and access management tools (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud)
• Endpoint management solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji or similar MDM platforms)
• Familiarity with network security, VPNs, firewalls and zero-trust models
• IT automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus
