Systems Administrator – Hybrid (Lisbon)

About the role

Syone is looking for a detail‑oriented Systems Administrator to join our Lisbon office in a hybrid work model. You will be responsible for keeping our Linux and Windows Server environments running smoothly while supporting both cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and monitor Linux and Windows Server platforms to ensure stability, performance and availability.
• Manage and maintain virtualised infrastructures using CloudStack, VMware, Hyper‑V and/or Proxmox VE.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across systems, networks and applications.
• Execute technical tests, prepare documentation and produce reports to support infrastructure operations and improvements.
• Support and maintain both cloud‑based and on‑premises environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement, optimise and continuously improve infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of professional experience in systems administration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with system monitoring and day‑to‑day IT operations.
• Good English proficiency and strong communication and documentation skills.
