Systems Administrator – AI Driven

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator – AI Driven to support and automate our client’s IT infrastructure in the insurance sector. The role combines traditional system administration with the implementation of AI and intelligent automation tools, working in a hybrid environment based in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, support, and optimise Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Administer, monitor and scale cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Oversee Microsoft 365 services and enterprise applications.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash or equivalent.
• Support deployment, operation and maintenance of AI platforms and intelligent automation systems.
• Ensure security controls, identity and access management, and infrastructure observability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and project teams to accelerate delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in system administration on Windows Server and Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructures.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Solid background in Microsoft 365 administration.
• Knowledge of monitoring, security practices, identity management and observability tools.
• High autonomy, problem‑solving ability and results‑driven mindset.
• Based in Portugal and available for a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
