System Administrator – Linux & Windows Server

About the role

We are looking for a System Administrator to ensure the continuous, secure and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining both on‑premises and cloud platforms, guaranteeing availability, performance and alignment with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and maintain operating systems, servers, networks and technology platforms (on‑premises and cloud).
• Ensure availability and performance of critical systems through proactive monitoring and optimisation.
• Manage virtualization environments, containers and cloud computing platforms.
• Implement and maintain security policies, backups, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents within defined SLA targets.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Participate in the design and implementation of scalable, resilient architectures.
• Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines.
• Document procedures, configurations and best practices.
• Handle updates, patches and lifecycle management of systems and platforms.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• High degree of autonomy, responsibility and results orientation.
• Comfort working in cross‑functional, multidisciplinary projects.
• Fluency in English or French.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Monitoring and logging tools.
• Scripting/automation (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of information security best practices.
