Support Engineer (IT Operations & Automation)

About the role

As a Support Engineer you will be the execution engine behind our AI‑driven IT model, owning day‑to‑day operations for a 220‑person global company. You will serve as the primary internal IT contact, manage onboarding/offboarding automation, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 while supporting company‑wide AI tool deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the IT helpdesk queue: resolve, close, or escalate tickets with clear ownership.
• Run end‑to‑end onboarding and offboarding: Jamf provisioning, Okta access, app assignments, hardware setup.
• Administer the macOS fleet via Jamf Pro: device enrollment, policy deployment, Jamf Connect, software management.
• Manage Okta lifecycle, MFA, and end‑user troubleshooting.
• Own Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration: mailboxes, groups, shared drives, licensing.
• Coordinate hardware logistics with the office manager and maintain asset records.
• Maintain and improve automation workflows for onboarding/offboarding and build lightweight scripts (Google Apps Script, shell, Python).
• Support Claude enterprise administration and monitor AI tools for anomalies.
• Gather ISO 27001 and SOC 2 evidence in Vanta, conduct periodic access reviews, and assist with InfoSec audits.

Required skills

• Jamf Pro and Jamf Connect administration (macOS fleet management).
• Okta user lifecycle and MFA management.
• Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Automation scripting: Python, shell, Google Apps Script.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Vanta compliance tooling.
• Experience with AI tool deployment (Claude, MCP connector) is a plus.
