Jacobs is seeking a Subcontract Administrator for its Guaynabo, Puerto Rico office. The role supports the procurement and management of subcontracted professional and construction services, ensuring contracts are executed efficiently and in line with project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of subcontracted services, including preparation of requests for quotation, bidder qualification, and bid evaluation.
• Administer procurement agreements, change orders, and subcontract modifications to meet project objectives.
• Review subcontract‑related invoices and ensure approval according to contract terms.
• Maintain subcontracting documentation in a centralized repository.
• Identify and advise management of subcontract‑related risks.
• Resolve subcontract issues by evaluating facts and applying appropriate remedies.
• Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and tools throughout the subcontracting process.

Required profile

• Demonstrated knowledge of procurement concepts, principles, and best practices.
• Experience handling day‑to‑day subcontracting tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to coordinate with Project Procurement Managers, Subcontracts Leads, Project Managers, and Construction Managers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
