Structural Engineer – Data Centre Products

About the role

We are seeking a senior Structural Engineer to support the global engineering strategy for data‑centre internal fit‑out products. The role involves designing innovative structural solutions that meet the specific challenges of cloud‑based environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for rack support systems, structural skids, piping skids and MEP supports.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations and specifications in line with building codes and industry standards.
• Model, simulate and analyse designs using SCIA, IDEA StatiCa or Tekla Structures.
• Provide technical expertise on materials selection, construction methods and sustainability requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews and project coordination to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with commercial, technical, project management, engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Support the development of standardized engineering practices across regions.
• Report progress, milestones and risks to the Lead Product Design Engineer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within data‑centre or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and codes.
• Proven ability to drive design innovation and manage complex projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SCIA.
• Proficiency with IDEA StatiCa.
• Proficiency with Tekla Structures.
• Experience with structural analysis and FEA software.
