Solution Engineer – Manufacturing IT, Product Owner & Test Lead

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Solution Engineer to evolve into a combined Product Owner and Test Lead role within our Manufacturing IT environment. Based in Braga, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of manufacturing applications, ensuring they meet shop‑floor requirements and operate reliably across Bosch’s global plants.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of selected manufacturing IT applications and drive their continuous development.
• Collaborate with production‑plant stakeholders to gather, structure, and prioritize business requirements.
• Translate requirements into clear specifications and actionable backlog items for development teams.
• Coordinate implementation activities, validate delivered solutions, and support rollout and adoption worldwide.
• Develop and improve testing concepts, increase test coverage, and promote automated testing and modern quality engineering practices.
• Contribute to group‑wide testing standards and foster quality awareness across product teams.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing IT solutions or similar industrial software environments.
• Strong interest in product ownership and software quality assurance.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and understand shop‑floor processes.
