Software Project Manager (Healthcare)

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Software Project Manager to lead complex software development and digital transformation projects in the Healthcare sector. You will be responsible for delivering business and technical objectives while managing scope, budget, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage software projects end‑to‑end, from initiation through delivery and post‑go‑live support.
• Define and monitor project roadmaps, releases, and key milestones.
• Control scope, budget, timelines, quality, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration across business and technical stakeholders.
• Prepare executive reporting and facilitate steering committee meetings.
• Handle project governance, escalations, change requests and delivery issues.
• Monitor compliance with SLAs, KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Promote Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management with a proven track record of delivering large‑scale software projects.
• Experience managing complex information systems and digital transformation initiatives.
• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or an equivalent framework.
• Strong experience managing contracts, suppliers, budgets and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent Portuguese and good English.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software delivery lifecycles.
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or AgilePM.
