Software Engineer III – Frontend (Account Experience)

About the role

Primer is building the unified infrastructure for global payments. The Account Experience team owns the platform merchants use to set up and manage their accounts, including the Primer AI Companion.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end frontend projects, from scoping to production, across payment surfaces and merchant‑facing tooling.
• Lead architectural decisions, produce RFCs and ADRs, and ensure composable, performant UI.
• Monitor production impact with metrics, respond to incidents and drive resolutions.
• Maintain high code quality, conduct reviews and share knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Solid frontend engineering experience delivering production‑grade work independently.
• Extensive experience with TypeScript and preferably web components.
• Ability to scope, plan architecture and execute projects without constant direction.
• Strong understanding of building accessible, performant, maintainable UI at scale.
