Software Engineer – Full Stack (Java, Spring Boot, React)

About the role

Join Diconium’s global team of digital transformation experts as a Software Engineer. You will work on a modern, scalable platform, delivering end‑to‑end features that combine backend microservices with responsive front‑end applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Create and evolve RESTful APIs for clean client/server integration.
• Build modern web interfaces with React and TypeScript, focusing on reusable components.
• Collaborate with design teams to deliver accessible, high‑quality UI.
• Work with SQL and optionally NoSQL databases to ensure performance and reliability.
• Contribute to event‑driven architectures using Kafka where applicable.
• Implement testing, observability, and engineering best practices.
• Own features from refinement through release and monitoring.
• Partner with DevOps/SRE on CI/CD pipelines and operational excellence.
• Participate in architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in IT.
• Proven full‑stack experience with Java (Spring Boot) and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript for scalable UI development.
• Comfort with relational databases (SQL) and exposure to NoSQL.
• Understanding of modern engineering practices such as testing, code reviews, and clean architecture.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams with product, design, and DevOps.
