Software Engineer – Embedded AI (C++)

About the role

Join Bosch's engineering team in Lisbon to develop next‑generation Occupant Monitoring Systems and AI‑driven automotive solutions. You will work at the intersection of embedded software and machine learning, turning AI models into reliable, production‑ready code for vehicle platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality C++ software for AI‑powered automotive applications.
• Implement software components that consume, process and interpret outputs from deep‑learning and machine‑learning models.
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers to integrate models into embedded solutions.
• Optimize performance, memory usage and execution efficiency on automotive SoCs such as Texas Instruments and Qualcomm.
• Support deployment, integration and validation of AI models in embedded environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, debugging and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Strong background in embedded software development.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering reliable, high‑performance code for automotive platforms.
