Software Developer – Full Stack (React/Node.js)

About the role

Addvolt is looking for a motivated Software Developer to join its Digital Services Team in Porto. You will work on a cloud‑based platform that supports cleaner, quieter refrigerated transport, contributing to a greener future.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack applications with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Improve and contribute to current development and engineering practices.
• Transform design concepts into polished, accessible, cross‑device, responsive experiences.
• Work on the infrastructure that powers Addvolt’s cloud platform.
• Build and enhance features using JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate emerging technologies and help manage the system architecture for varied workloads.

Required profile

• High energy, strong work ethic and passion for technology.
• Clear and transparent communication, aligned with Addvolt values of transparency, agility and trustworthiness.
• Professional or open‑source experience with JavaScript (React/TypeScript) for at least 3 years.
• Experience with server‑side architectures and Node.js for at least 2 years.
