Social Media Copy & Content Specialist (Remote, Dutch)

About the role

Algomarketing is seeking a Social Media Copy & Content Specialist to support Google’s Nordics and Benelux marketing communications. Working remotely, you will create and refine English-language email and social-first copy, ensuring brand consistency and cultural relevance for B2B and B2C audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit and proofread email and social media content, maintaining flawless grammar and adherence to Google’s voice and brand guidelines.
• Adapt master messaging to the nuances of each platform and develop audience-specific variations and personalization.
• Create social-first copy and assets designed to drive comments, shares and community interaction.
• Provide copy inputs for A/B testing, generate headline, sub-line and CTA variants, and collaborate with analytics to interpret results.
• Partner with designers and developers to ensure final copy preserves design integrity, accessibility and link accuracy.
• Track performance insights and continuously refine messaging strategies across campaigns.

Required profile

• Exceptional editorial skills with a proven ability to switch between precise, brand-aligned copy and agile social media language.
• Deep understanding of Gen Z and young millennial culture and trends, especially within Northern Europe.
• AI-first, social-first mindset and familiarity with the current media landscape in the Nordics and Benelux.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
