SOC Analyst L1 – Blue Team (Hybrid, Ponta Delgada)

About the role

Inetum is expanding its Cybersecurity team and seeks a Level 1 SOC Analyst to join the Blue Team in Ponta Delgada. You will monitor security alerts, perform initial analysis, and follow defined incident‑response playbooks while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Execute initial incident analysis according to predefined playbooks.
• Escalate complex incidents to Level 2 analysts.
• Record, document, and update tickets to ensure traceability.
• Maintain and enrich the knowledge base for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal security and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as an SOC Analyst L1.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM/SOAR tools and incident‑response workflows.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Experience using ticketing systems such as Remedy.
• Preferred certifications: ITIL, ISO 27001, CEH, BTL1, CompTIA Security+.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication.
• Willingness to work 24/7 rotating shifts.
