Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Lisbon

About the role

The SRE Engineer will join act digital’s Lisbon near‑shore IT centre, supporting a portfolio of public‑sector clients. You will be responsible for building, monitoring and automating cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, ensuring high reliability and performance of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement cloud infrastructure and monitoring (Azure, Windows, Linux).
• Build Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell and Python.
• Operate container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Design, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and other DevOps tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents, provide operational support and manage service requests.
• Measure, optimise system performance and improve reliability of software solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team, meet objectives and adopt a proactive problem‑solving approach.
