Senior Windows Systems Administrator

About the role

Extia is looking for a senior Windows Systems Administrator to manage and secure critical enterprise Windows infrastructures. You will work in a 24/7 operational environment, collaborating with infrastructure, security, and business teams across international sites.

Key responsibilities

• Administer complex Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policies, multi‑domain architectures, and identity lifecycle management.
• Manage privileged access solutions, password vaults, PKI infrastructures, and certificate lifecycle activities.
• Implement security hardening and compliance frameworks based on industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Automate patch management, software deployment, and operational workflows using PowerShell and enterprise tools.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency, reporting, and infrastructure management.
• Support Citrix environments and contribute to disaster‑recovery testing, capacity planning, and infrastructure resilience.
• Monitor system health and performance with enterprise monitoring platforms, ensuring effective alerting and incident response.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and provide support for critical production systems outside regular business hours.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration within enterprise or highly regulated environments.
• Security‑focused mindset with experience implementing privileged access management and compliance controls.
• Proactive, reliable team player comfortable with 24/7 operational duties.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional, international teams.
