Senior Tax Advisor – VAT & Indirect Tax

About the role

We are expanding our Tax Advisory team in Braga and are looking for a Senior Tax Advisor to lead indirect tax projects, primarily VAT, for both external and internal clients. You will provide high‑quality technical advice, supervise junior staff and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Research and prepare technical tax advice on indirect tax matters, especially VAT.
• Supervise and support junior team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Participate in client meetings and help manage ongoing client relationships.
• Liaise with tax authorities and international partners as needed.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing activities such as technical articles, legislative monitoring and marketing.
• Assist with commercial aspects of engagements, including fee proposals and client communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Tax, Economics, Management or a related field.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); French or Spanish is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in VAT, preferably in a tax advisory or consulting environment.
• Experience with international or cross‑border tax matters is highly valued.
